Jody Cornish, CWW’s Executive Director, brings extensive expertise in education innovation and social impact strategy to her role. Previously, Jody served as SVP of Alignment Innovation at City Year, where she shaped strategies and co-led national education thought leadership efforts. Previously, as Managing Partner at New Profit, Jody co-led the Reimagine Learning initiative, engaging nearly 1,000 education innovators in tackling systemic challenges in K-12 education. Her leadership extends to board service with YouthBuild USA, Next Generation Learning Challenges, and Big Picture Learning.
A lifelong advocate for equity in education, Jody is deeply committed to ensuring all students, regardless of zip code, have access to transformative learning opportunities. Having grown up on a dairy farm in rural Pennsylvania, Jody is a first-generation college attendee. She holds a Bachelor’s in politics, economics, and Russian Studies from the University of Rochester and a Master’s in Social Psychology from Duke University.
