FY2025-2026: Campus Without Walls Pilot

Reimagining Access, Equity, and Opportunity in Public Education

PURPOSE:
In a rapidly changing, tech-driven world, every student deserves equal opportunities, regardless of location or school funding. Public education must evolve to meet these challenges, especially after the pandemic highlighted both issues and possibilities.

Campus Without Walls (CWW) offers a statewide virtual course-sharing platform, enabling students to access high-quality, diverse courses taught by educators and industry partners across districts—without leaving their own schools. This model expands access to advanced, culturally responsive, and career-connected learning, especially for students in underserved or remote areas. It also helps keep niche courses alive and maximizes underutilized teaching talent.

Aligned with innovation and equity priorities, CWW fosters collaboration among districts, creating flexible, personalized learning pathways. We’re launching a two-year pilot with 10 high schools representing 3–5 districts, providing planning grants and a supportive community to shape the future of education in Massachusetts. Let’s build the next chapter—together.
